If you’re without internet, you can still perform UPI payments using the *99# USSD service, launched by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). Follow these steps:
- *Dial 99# from your registered mobile number.
- Select the Service: Options include “Send Money,” “Check Balance,” and more.
- Send Money: Choose the method, such as mobile number or UPI ID.
- Enter Details: Provide the recipient’s details, amount, and your UPI PIN to complete the transaction.
For transactions below Rs 500, UPI Lite can be utilized, bypassing the need for a passcode.
This method ensures seamless payments even in the absence of internet connectivity.
